Restorative Yoga & Yoga Nidra Teacher Training
Yoga Alliance Certified - 40 Hours

with

Senior Yoga Teacher

Alison Quinlan

April 25th & 26th  and

May 9th & 10th, 2026

This certified 40-hour training offers an in-depth exploration of the art of relaxation through Restorative Yoga and Yoga Nidra. You’ll learn how to use supported postures to facilitate the passive release of tension held in the body and discover effective methods to elicit the Relaxation Response.

Expect a well-rounded and robust immersion into Restorative Yoga postures, including variations, alternatives, cues, and considerations. We'll explore prop set-ups, alignment, adaptations, timings, transitions, touch adjustments, the methodology of pranayama, and the physiology of relaxation.

The training takes place over four days and includes supporting material such as research reading and assignments.

Scientific research continues to confirm what yogis have long known—rest and relaxation are essential for everyone.

Whether your intention is to deepen your personal understanding of restorative practices, share them with loved ones, or teach them professionally, this training offers comprehensive guidance in both the theory and practical application of Restorative Yoga.

Alison first discovered Yoga Nidra in Rishikesh, India, and immediately fell in love with the practice. Her journey has included studies in traditional Nidra techniques, as well as training in the iRest protocol developed by Richard Miller.

Her aim is to equip you with the knowledge and skills to create an atmosphere that encourages students to release mental stress—while also igniting a love for teaching this profoundly healing practice.
